Google Search result on iPhone

Searching the web using iPhone is now getting better, since google has refined its search page when visiting from an iPhone or iPod touch. Now when you search the web using google, you’ll get vertically aligned text or imagery so you won’t have to scroll horizontally, with a blue navigation bar. Overall it will be similar to other Google services.

Whenever your search related to appropriate map, the result will be automatically shows maps with a Show Map links if there are multiple map listings.

Unfortunately, iPhone users who live outside the US won’t be able to enjoy the new formatting, since the access is only viewable in English from the US with an Apple handheld which run on v2.x firmware.

The good news is that Google promises to extend the service by bringing the formatting to different phones, countries and language just like they usually do.
