Upgrade
For Upgrade process, plug iPhone to USB on your PC/Mac, then activate iTunes.
before continue to the next step, make sure that you have downloaded the firmware files.

For windows:
- Push and hold shift button, then click upgrade buttton on iTunes
- Pick firmware files (.ipsw) that suits the version you’re about to upgrade.
- You can release Shift button Now!
For Mac
- Push and Hold Alt/Option button , then click upgrade button on iTunes
- Pick firmware files (.ipsw) that appropriate with the version you’re about to upgrade.
- You can release Alt/Option button Now!
We recommend not to unplug cable connections or playing iPhone ever, during the process, not running other heavy apps which can cause your computer hang.
This process takes about 10-30 minutes. The upgrade process doesn,t erase contact, calendar or Multimedia data. Upgrade will update the firmware and baseband.
Restore/Downgrade
This Process will erase all data in your iPhone, as if it ’s just opened from the box.
Get your iPhone in DFU mode
For Windows:
- Push and hold Shift button, then click Restore button on iTunes
- Select Pick firmware files (.ipsw) that suits the version you’re about to restore.
- You can release Shift button Now!
For Mac:
- Push and hold Alt/Option button, then click Restore button on iTunes
- Select Pick firmware files (.ipsw) that suits the version you’re about to restore.
- You can release Alt/Option Now!
The Process takes about 10-30 minutes. It only downgrade the fromware, and NOT downgrade the baseband. In the end of the process, iTunes will come up with error 1013 atau 1015. and the iPhone remains in Recovery Mode
To restart iPhone from recovery mode, please use:
