Millions of Facebook citizens are ‘Farmers’

Facebook has grown to be the most popular social network with million users all around the world, more than 72 million of them are ‘farmers’.   They’re crazy about Facebook applications that offer farming games.

Yup, farming games are hot among Facebook users. To the extent, of the top 10 most popular Facebook the top 2 positions are farming games.

With more than 35 million monthly active users, Farmville a free game developed by Zynga from San Fransisco ranked number one on the list.

Farmville successfully break the records of another popular app which you might be one of the fans, i.e. ‘How Well Do You Know Me? ‘.
The gaming app allows users to become farmers in cyberspace. They are faced with a simple life on daily basis and to take care of the farm as do harvesting vegetables, milking cows, etc..

Under Farmville, there is another farming game called  Farm Town played by 6 million users each day. Both beat the game Mafia Wars games in the 3rd rank.
