iPhone christmas price cut

Apple is putting in order a scaled-down version of the iPhone 3G for the Christmas pay-as-you-go market, with a device look similar to the iPod Nano.

The UK based Daily Mail is publishing this rumor, “This will be a big one,” says an industry source.
Although the iPhone 3G has made termendouz records in cell phone sales, even it’s the fastest-selling phone ever in the UK, but it is too expensive to be a realistic proposition in the pay-as-you-go market.

The upcoming handset would likely be available for around £150, to appeal to those who can’t afford the £300 for the iPhone 3G sans contract, which is rumoured to be coming soon.
