Sony Ericsson is scheduled to launch its premium smartphone ‘XPERIA X1′, Featuring Arc slider design, the XPERIA X1, while runs on Windows Mobile 6.1.

The full QWERTY keyboard allows the most of that Windows Mobile 6 operating system. Sony ericsson’s new XPERIA brand will focus on multimedia and mobile web communication. The X1 then, brings a adopts a 3-inch touchscreen with 800 x 480(VGA) resolution and a 3.2M camera with auto focus, 3.2 megapixel camera (with photo light), A2DP Bluetooth, aGPS, WiFi, and microSD — just 400MB on board. On the phone side you’ve got quad-band GSM/EDGE, and 900/1700/1900/2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA (or 850/1700/1900/2100MHz in what must be a US-bound model).

Measuring 110*53*16.7mm at 145g, it supports AGPS(Assisted GPS), Bluetooth connectivity and microSD card slot.

The XPERIA X1 will be available in England via online shopping site(www.play.com) from October 30th. The Suggested price is £599.99.
