by Mick on September 30, 2008

Sony recently took the wraps off the world’s thinnestt LCD HDTV ‘KDL-40ZX1′ during CEATEC 2008, which features an only 9.9mm thick at its narrowest, and 26 pounds.
The screen itself has only 1 HDMI port, while the wireless box can send the 120Hz, 1080p display up to 1080i images over a 5GHz channel many suspect is WHDM. That external port box will have 3 HDMI, VGA, 2 component, s-video, and even a mouse, USB, and LAN port. All menus will be controlled through an XMB Playstation-style crossmedia interface.
