Olympus Stylus 1050 SW, Waterproof, Freezeproof, Shockproof Digicam

It is actually an update of its 1030 SW, with a very interesting new feature: The “Tap Control” technology. Thought for extreme environments, this new feature allows you to control, or navigate the menu of the camera, even if the user wear gloves:

The Olympus Stylus 1050SW has a CCD 1/2.33”of 10.1 megapixels, 3X optical zoom, an ISO 80 to 1600, TruePic III processor, an LCD screen 2.7 inches, and the Freezeproof function that allows you to use your camera at very low temperature (up to -10 ° Celsius), the function of face detection and smile, etc….
Available in October for 200 €.

Olympus also introduced the Stylus 1040 (the finer the aircraft manufacturer), which features virtually the same characteristics as the 1050 SW, but without the Tap Control function. the price is set about 135 €.
