chrome Chrome Beta Release 0.4.154.25 The latest Beta version of Google Chrome has just been released, The updated patch should be available in the next few days. You can check the update by clicking About Google Chrome under the menu, if the version appeared isn’t the latest version you can get it updated right away from there.

As the update of the previous chrome version, Google Chrome Beta Release 0.4.154.25 brings up some new changes including import/export features on the bookmark manager, bugs fixing, new blocked pop-up notification.

Bookmark manager
After the pacth installed, you should be able to see Bookmark manager under wrench menu. Bookmarking features such as export and import can be effectively managed with this new feature.

Bug Fixing
The downloaded files are no longer connecting to network with XMHttpRequest() and you will be prompted to confirm for downloading if it is HTML file.

New blocked pop-up notification
The new chrome will display a small notification that shows the number of blocked pop-up is displayed at that corner instead of the blocked pop-up window. To open each of the blocked pop-up windows, you can simply click on the menu on the notification.

Privacy section under Options
Features that might send data to another service are grouped under wrench menu -> Options -> Under the Hood tab.

Google has already begun distributing the a third beta version of its recently released Chrome browser. “You will automatically get updated in the next few days,” Said Chrome program manager Mark Larson in a mailing list Wednesday night announcing the new version.

But for users who can’t wait to see the new Chrome, they can anticipate the updated version right away by clicking ‘About Google Chrome’ from the wrench menu.

The update takes Chrome to version 0.3.154.9 and takes on a variety of fixes, performance tweaks, and security weaknesses. One such vulnerability includes a scenario where, once a user opens a pop-up window, the site could show a different web address one that actually supplied the information.

Larson warns that such a flaw could be used to trick mislead people about the origin of a Web site and giving up sensitive information.

Other changes include better performance and reliability for plug-ins such as Silverlight and Flash; support for scrolling with a touchpad; and better performance and reliability for people who browse the Web through a proxy.

More features that makes browsing experience much convenient including the ability to sort columns in the password manager, adding a command line switch to the start the browser in incognito mode, better support for Windows Media Player, crash fixes, and more, as outlined in the release notes.

As we know, Tabbed browsing is a Firefox’ feature that enable users to explore the Internet and open web pages in separate tabs in one window. So, there’s no need to open many window if you want to open so several sites that makes the taskbar looks crowdy.

However, users often unintentionally close a browser tab that they actually still want to explore because there’s important information , even planning to bookmark site.

Don’t be affraid, the developers have actually anticipated this scenario and implement a feature where the tab is accidentally closed can be opened again. It’s very easy:

1. Click the History of the browser Firefox.
2. Select Recently Closed tabs, and then look for sites that you unintentionally close.

Another simple way is jut by pressing Ctrl+ Shift + T on the keyboard, the browser tab you just closed can be opened again.
