Nintendo DSi

Nintendo DSi

The game console Nintendo DSi, which certainly hasn’t made too much buzz in Japan will likely release a new model of its top-selling handheld player, the DSi, in overseas markets by the summer of 2009.

the summer would be a good time to put on sale in Europe this version of its portable console. Satoru Iwata, president of Nintendo Co Ltd said.

Today the DSi has gone on sale in Japan for 18,900 yen ($192. The highlights are included camera, audio playback and a slimmer than the current model.

In Japan, for the moment, the Nintendo DSi has about 200,000 portable consoles ready to be purchased this weekend, and another 100,000 units for the first week. But I do not think there queues to get a precisely.
