10 Unsafe Games for Children

National Institute on Media and the Family (NIMF) recently released its annuals annual video game report card on the ten games that has raised “red-flags”.

The institute criticizes the gaming industry, which create games without any warning or age restrictions for gamers. According to NIMF, children often play games with violence content and adult scene, and this is unsafe for their mental development.

NIMF also reminds parents to pay enough attention to their children with their video gaming activities , especially as this holiday season many games that circulates on the market, actually unsafe for children to play.

Here are the list NIMF’s “red flags” video games.

  • Blitz: The League II
  • Dead Space
  • Fallout 3
  • Far Cry 2
  • Gears of War 2
  • Legendary
  • Left 4 Dead
  • Resistance 2
  • Saints Row 2
  • Silent Hill: Homecoming

Street Fighter IV

Street Fighter has been one of favorite game since when I was a little kid, now that the time has changed, and so many new games that offers better gaming experience. Consequently, the popularity of Street Fighter is going down.

However, for those who want play with Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, Bison, Blanka and other famous characters of Street Fighter need not to worry. For, Capcom has prepared them to go into the battle.

This game called Street Fighter IV. As a beginning, Capcom will release it game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later in the winter. Unfortunately, the distribution of the game is still limited. The street Fighter IV will first  hit the United States then Europe.

Rumors said that a number of characters from Capcom are also included to make the game more exciting. In addition, the graphic is also adjusted with the latest 3D technology.

Castlevania Judgement

Castlevania Judgement

Castlevania Judgment is the latest edition of Castlevania series which has a pretty cool concept, which combines the characters from different Castlevania series to put into one fighting ground. But it seems the concept is still not yet fully achieved.

Nevertheless, this game will be released around next month and Konami announced several new additional characters from the game to accompany Alucard, Dracula, Simon and Mary.

Coming from Castlevania: Bloodlines is Eric Lecarde, then followed with Shanoa from Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, and eventually one of the characters are always in every game Castlevania namely Death.

But how about the main characters, such as Richter, Trevor, Hector, Soma Cruz, or the bad guys like Succubus? Lets just wait until the official release which will be about a month.
