Google Video Chat

Google Video Chat

Apparently Google is spreading their wings wider in the internet business, just a while ago we posted that the internet search giant optimizes search result on iPhone, this time they adds up a new feature to their popular email service, Gmail. Google has introduced its new Gmail voice and video chat capabilities, which offers easy-to-use, seamless experience, with high-quality audio and video — all for free right from within Gmail.

To activate the service all you need to do is download the voice and video plugin and install it on your computer.

Here’s the how-to According to the official google blog;

Once you install the plugin, to start a video chat, just click on the “Video & more” menu at the bottom of your Gmail chat window, and choose “Start video chat.” You’ll have a few seconds to make sure you look presentable while it’s ringing, and then you’ll see and hear your friend live, right from within Gmail. You can click the “pop-out” iconclip image002 Gmail now Gets Voice and Video Chatto make the video larger, or click the fullscreen iconclip image004 Gmail now Gets Voice and Video Chatin the upper left-hand corner for a fully immersive experience

T-Mobile G1 Android OS

The T-Mobile G1 (aka HTC Dream) is the first official mobile phone featuring this Android. It’s also the first HTC that left WM operating system.

So What’s cool ?

The HTC Dream has a touch screen LCD with 3.1”HVGA resolution (480×320), a full QWERTY keyboard, a webcam 3Mpix of WiFi, 1GB memory (up to 8 GB with microSD), Bluetooth. It is also equipped with the Android Market, Push Gmail, Google Maps and the Amazon’s mobile MP3 store.
In short, it is clear that this OS Android may, without problem, compete with a competitor like Symbian.
