the new iPod Touch (Second-generation) seems to have been treated with a special ‘touch’ by Apple to win the tight competition in game market.

The applications processor inside the second G iPod which released in September is indeed runs faster than the one used in the iPhone 3G said Touch Arcade Reports. The new iPod Touch’s ARM-based processor is running at 532MHz, while the iPhone 3G’s processor runs at 412MHz.

iPod touch, iPod nano, and 2.1 Software

After a lot of rumors and speculation on the internet finally Apple confirmed what we all anticipating of today’s major announcement. Apple unveils the new iPods, iTunes (iTunes 8), and an upgrade for iPhone / iPod Touch software. here’s the detail

iPod Nano
The new iPod nano (8GB $ 149, 16 GB $ 199) sports a curved, aluminum and glass. The nano comes in a very attractive (blue, purple, orange, green, pink). Apple has the acceleration meters from the touch-screen iPod and iPhone, and with similar initiatives in the devices. Turn It sideways, and it will decks mode (complete full-size albums); shake the nano and shuffle the tracks. Very cool.
