Sonic Unleashed

Sega recently announced the delay of the latest Sonic the Hedgehog Game Series, Sonic World Adventure. The game will be ready in spring 2009.

Sega decided to delay the game Sonic Adventure World. In Japan, Sega delayed for the Xbox 360 console and the PlayStation 3, while the Nintendo Wii version will be launched on December 18.

Sonic World Adventure for outside Japan, will given a title Sonic Unleashed. The version is rumored to be delayed as well and will be out on the third week November 2008.

Sega mentioned several reasons behind the delay. One is to improve the quality of the game.

Sonic Unleashed again placing gamers in the position of the blue Sonic hedgehog. This time he must restore a broken world caused by his eternal enemy DR. Eggman.

Uniquely, in this version Sonic game will reveal his dark side by transforming himself to a werewolf which will have greater strength in the night.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Many video game characters were created to draw attention of gamers. However, from many of the characters that, only a few are finally were really popular and captivate the hearts of the fans.

One of them is of course the famous character of Sonic from Sonic the HedgeHog. Even in a poll to that was held on London Games Festival, Sonic was croned as the most popular Game Character in Britain.

In the poll, which involved 500 gamers in the Great Britain, the popularity of Sonic successfully conquered the other popular game characters such as Super Mario or Lara Croft.

The Sonic hedgehog itself created by the, Sega, in 1991. Sonic apperared for the first time on the Sega console Man drives. Even now, at Sonic still become a main character in video game and is still in demand, especially in the Nintendo Wii console.
