The Toshiba X305, has officially seen the light with specifications and price issue. At least if we want the top model range it will go for over $ 4,000.

However, the Toshiba X305, designed primarily for gamers with price tag ; $ 1,400, which is not bad if you consider that this is a portable 17-inch screen with a 1680 x 1050 pixels resolution and spectacular colors .

Toshiba have just added to their notebooks line up with the Toshiba Portege R600 ultraportable that weighing only 779 grams.

here are some features of the of the Toshiba Portege R600:

  • Intel Core 2 Duo at 1.2 GHz.
  • 2 GB of RAM.
  • a 12.1-inch screen. With 1280 x 800 pixels resolution
  • 160 GB SATA hard drive
  • DVD recorder.

The Toshiba Portege R600 offers connectivity, as required, provided by Wi-Fi 802.11n compatible with Bluetooth 2.1.
The OS is powered by Windows Vista Business. And the best part is that it uses 6-cell batteries and can last up to 9 hours.

The price starts at 1,500 euros, at the moment it available only at Tsohiba Canada websitem and is categorized in Notebooks, Toshiba.

Super Charge Ion Battery form Toshiba

Toshiba plans to launch laptop battery that needs only a few minutes charging. The Japanese electronics company is preparing to design the prototype of Super Charge Ion Battery (SCiB), The battery is designed to be more durable and able to fill 90 percent of the capacity only in ten minutes.

SCiB is claimed to be more powerful than Lithium-ion battery of other laptops. The Battery is not only durable but also safe, because it is not flammable. Toshiba said that SCiB made from materials with high level of stability so that it won’t get burnt easily even in a high temperature.
