Windows 7 RC1, Microsoft’s latest OS which has been released for public, certainly it’s not perfect (yet).

However, unlike the previous beta version, on the RC version, the ’send feedback‘ feature has been removed. Consequently, it becomes a little bit tricky for users who want to send some bug reports or trouble as feedbacks to Microsoft.

Microsoft seems to intentionally remove the ‘feedback link’ that used to be on the desktop. The reason is because Windows 7 has reached a more final version.

But if users do find any bugs, it’s not necessarily mean that they can no longer ‘voice’. But they are not able to send the report instantly, as in the earlier beta version. [click to continue…]

Microsoft has introduced Windows Mail as a free email and newsgroup client for Windows Vista to replace Outlook Express. Fake versions of Windows 7 Release Candidate 1 were all over the BitTorrent scene, but if you are looking for legit copies of the Win 7 RC 1 (build 7100), it’s now available for unsanctioned download. go ahead, just hits your favorit torrent, but beware of the fake versions.

Microsoft will officially publish the Release Candidate via its MSDN and TechNet testers next week, and the public will see it from May 5.

It seems that there will be no major change with the RC build. You can expect some features like performance tweaking, bug fixes and new “remove XX antitrust magnet feature” option (for IE 8, Media Player, Windows Search and more) in the new release.
Microsoft is quick to warn users against downloading software other than their own servers. (And I’m not recommending that you do anything illegal, just to be clear).
