The concept of laptop OLPC (One Lap Top Per Child) XO-2 was presented this week and it is simply magnificent. This concept is made of 2 parts type touchscreen and should support a version of Windows Microsoft. It will be used to surf the Internet, or play electronic book (screen pass to a vertical mode). Smaller than the first name XO, XO-2 should also be cheaper to achieve a unit price of $ 75.
The objective is an exit from this device for 2010. A beautiful challenge, but that seems difficult to maintain. Meanwhile, the XO-1.5 should be on sale next year. This unit will keep the design of the XO-1 but is expected to cost cheaper thanks to savings made on some parts of the machine.
