new technology

After launching Glue(TM) Pages in India and made a big hit, now the similar service comes to the United States Yahoo! Glue(TM) beta. The new feature works by aggregating items returned by a search into a single visual presentation.

Yahoo! Glue starting with a limited set of topics automatically places the most relevant modules on a Yahoo! Glue(TM) page. It’s actually not a fresh idea, you can find the similarity with other services like Mahalo and Kosmix. What makes it different from others is that Yahoo offers a more sophisticated presentation of search result content, while backing it from position as a major search engine.

Before going to a wider market Glue still has lots to do, With the growing database and more organized presentation, hopefully the glue will be pretty sticky.

You can give it a try at glue.yahoo.com
