On the Internet, there are numbers portals that offers the browsing convenience. Yahoo!, for example, offers almost all the information in just one site. With their features; Yahoo! Maps, Local, Yahoo! Yahoo! Address Book, Yahoo! Calendar, Yahoo! News,
Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Sports, Yahoo! Entertainment, Yahoo! oneSearch, Yahoo! Weather, Flickr, or Yahoo! Mail, practically you won’t have to go to other sites one by one to find the information that you need.

Along with the high use of mobile Internet, Yahoo! Don’t want to lose their loyal visitors by plunging into mobile world. It  began with the launch WAP based portal. This portal can be accessed through http://m.yahoo.com on your phone’s browser. The design looks really simple without many images. you can simply access the information from Yahoo!.

To draw attention from mobile users. Yahoo! Then develop mobile applications based on Java. It’s called Yahoo! Go. The apps perform nice GUI with a little 3D touch.

There a variety of interesting widgets on Yahoo! Go,  such as oneSearch, Mail, Flickr, News, Sports, Finance, Entertainment, Weather, Maps, and various additional widgets in the Widget Gallery. Through Yahoo! Go, It seems that Yahoo is trying to redeem their weakness in WAP portal.
